Eligibility Criteria for Fashion Designing
If you are considering an Undergraduate course in this field, the minimum eligibility is 10+2 with 50 percent marks. 1. Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED):
It will be conducted by Symbiosis International University on May 4, 2019, in order to offer admissions to aspirants in BDes programmes offered at Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID).
2. NIFT Entrance Exam:
National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts NIFT entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in design programmes offered by it. Each year, more than 20,000 students appear for NIFT exam. It already occurred in the month of January.
3. Pearl Academy Entrance Exam:
Commonly called PAF Entrance Exam, this entrance exam is conducted every year for enrolling the student in 4 Pearl Academy Colleges around the country. This exam aims to evaluate spirants on the basis of their aptitude, creative and aesthetic sense, career focus, level of commitment and energy, ability to express oneself and so on.
4. NID DAT Entrance Exam:
This is Design Aptitude Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Institute of Design for various UG and PG design courses offered in the institution and its affiliated campuses. The exam usually takes 3 hours with subjective and objective type questions.
5. CEED:
Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay for providing admission to aspirants in Master of Design (MDes) and Ph.D. programmes offered at colleges accepting exam scores. CEED exam comprises two parts – A and B. While part A of CEED consists of objective type questions (to be attempted in online mode), part B contains subjective questions (to be attempted in offline mode) that test design, drawing and writing skills of candidates.
6. UCEED:
Conducted by IIT Bombay under the guidance of UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee, UCEED is the entrance exam for the candidates who aspire to get into Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes offered at colleges accepting UCEED scores.
