Indian institute of technology, Tirupati in collaboration with the US consulate general, Hyderabad will host a 3-day workshop on Academic writing from Tuesday till the 12th of this month.
According to IIT- Tirupati director Prof KN Satyanarayana, the international workshop is designed to develop autonomy, adaptability and responsibility in academic research and writing, which is necessary for young researchers to excel in higher education.
“The workshop seeks to enhance the participants ability to engage in academic writing and will provide a platform for educators and practitioners to improve and hone their writing skills to enable them to be successful in their academic pursuits”, he added.
Dr Carol Lechner Ruppel, English language specialist, US department of state, will conduct the workshop as a resource person to cater to 45 odd participants coming from various academic institutions across the country.
