Every year, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) releases all India rankings for top colleges and universities. This year President Ramnath Kovind released the NIRF India Ranking 2019 in 9 categories namely

• Engineering
• Management
• Pharmacy
• Medical
• Architecture and
• Law.
Colleges and universities under each category has been ranked on the basis of five evaluation parameters:
• Teaching and Learning Resources (TLR)
• Graduation Outcome (GO)
• Perception (PR)
• Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and
• Research and Professional Practice (RP)
