Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) congratulated Dr. M.P. Poonia, Vice Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi on the extension of his tenure for 3 years.
A delegation of PUCA under the leadership of President, Dr. Anshu Kataria today met to greet Dr. Poonia. Senior Vice President, Sh. Amit Sharma and General Secretary, Gurpreet Singh from PUCA were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Anshu Kataria while highlighting Poonia’s achievements said that he is very sincere, hardworking, innovative and visionary person who has done wonderful work for quality education in the Country. After being appointed as Vice Chairman, AICTE, Poonia under the guidance of Chairman, AICTE and MHRD introduced significant reforms in Technical Education benefitting around 10,000 colleges of the Country.

Kataria further said that his extension would give hope of survival to the drowning Technical Institutions of the Country.
It is to be mentioned that Dr. Poonia is presently serving as Vice Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi since 20th January 2017. Apart from Bikaner and NITTR, he has also worked at M.N.I.T., Jaipur. For his extraordinary services, he has been awarded various National awards.
