ONLINE applications are invited every year in the month of January(may differ) by RRBs from eligible Indian Nationals and other nationals as brought out at as per notification of this CEN for the posts of JE in various categories. Applications complete in all respects should be submitted ONLINE to the chosen Railway Recruitment Board.
Age limit
A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 33 years on 01st January 2019, i.e. For instance as 03/2018 CEN he/she must have been born not earlier than 01.01.2001 and not later than 02.01.1986.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must be either:-
A citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification
A candidate who has completed Technical grade from a recognized university.
How to Apply
Candidates can apply online in the month of January(differ) every year. No other mode of application will be accepted. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/ advice from the bank by email/ SMS.
GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through RRB website http://www.rrbchennai.gov.in/
After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.

Important Date
