The University of Delhi will conduct a mock test for final semester exams of undergraduate and postgraduate (regular, NCWEB, SOL) students in open book exam mode from July 4 to 8. All the candidates can check the full timetable on the official website at du.ac.in. The mock test link will be available on the website from July 2 and will be active from July 4 to July 8.
The DU open book exam mock test shall be conducted in three sessions on each day i.e. morning session, lunch session and evening session. Students can appear for the test as per their convenience.
The DU open book exam for final semester students was earlier scheduled to begin on July 1, 2020, but got postponed in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, DU will conduct the open book exam for the final semester on July 10.

About DU open book exam
- The duration for the examination is two hours only.
- An extra hour will be given to students for downloading question papers, scanning and uploading of answer sheets.
- The total duration of the open book exam shall be three hours.
- However, the students belonging to Divyang (PWD) category will be given five hours for the exam.
Answering method for DU open book exam
Students will write the answers on A-4 size white papers in their own handwriting (ruled or plain). Only black or blue coloured pens are to be used to write the answers.
Students will write their Name, Programme Name, Semester, Examination Roll Number, Unique Paper Code, Paper title, Date and Time of Examination on the first sheet used for answers.
Students should use separate sheets to answer each question since answer sheets are to be uploaded on the portal question wise so that evaluation can be conducted smoothly.
