Delhi University, DU is planning to conduct a round of open day before the college admissions begin. The open days were to be conducted only at the beginning of the registration process as a practice followed by the varsity. This time since the admissions are being conducted in an online mode from October 12, 2020. The open day is thus being planned to be conducted on October 5.
The students would be welcome to ask all their queries related to the admission process, doubts on online admission, application etc in the session. DU’s dean of admissions Shobha Bagai said the “ We would be having an open house before the beginning of the admissions on October 12.”

She said that the varsity was planning to conduct a webinar for the applicants to help them with the calculations of the cut-offs ad percentage issues etc.
Delhi University recently had released the schedule for the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions on the basis of merit as well as entrance exams conducted. DU First Cut off List 2020 for admissions to merit-based UG programmes would be released on October 12, 2020. A total of 5 cut off lists are to be released online on du.ac.in. All students will be given about two days to complete the admission process and would have added 2 days to complete the fees payment process.

As per the official schedule, the admission process in the colleges would be open from 10:00 am in the morning and would close on 5:00 pm in the evening. The dean has also informed that the students have been allowed to edit their application forms from September 12 and can continue to do so till October 5, 2020. The open house would be conducted after this process. It would be recorded and put on social media handles of the varsity and would function as a guide for other students.
