Union Public Service Commission on Tuesday released the e-Admit Card for Combined Medical Services Examination 2020 on its official website.

The UPSC CMS 2020 e-admit card has been released on the UPSC official website – https://www.upsc.gov.in/.

Candidates can download their UPSC CMS e-admit card through candidate login on the official website – https://www.upsc.gov.in/.

The candidate should note that if subsequent to the issue of e-Admit Card, ineligibility is detected at any stage before or after the Examination the candidature would be rejected.

The candidate should also note that the UPSC takes up the verification of eligibility conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications, community etc. with reference to original documents only of those candidates who qualify the written examination.

Written part of the Computer-based CMSE 2020 will be in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration. Both the question papers I and II will contain 120 items (questions) each and each item is in English only.

Computer-based CMSE 2020 in both the papers will be complete of objective (Multiple choice answer) type. There will be four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Password will be announced at 9.20 AM for Forenoon Session and at 1.50 PM for the Afternoon Session. Candidates will open the secure browser and read instructions from 9.20 AM to 9.30 AM for Forenoon Session and from 1.50 PM to 2.00 PM for the Afternoon Session. However, candidates will not be allowed to start their Examination before 9.30 AM for Forenoon Session and 02.00 PM for the Afternoon Session.

Candidates should not carry any books, paper, mobile phone or any other electronic items to the examination venue. UPSC will not be responsible for the safekeeping of such item(s).

How to download the UPSC CMS 2020 e-Admit Card?

1) Visit the official website – https://www.upsc.gov.in/.
2) In the right panel, click on the first link that reads: “e-Admit Card: Combined Medical Services Examination, 2020”. A new page will open on your screen.
3) Now click on the “Click Here” link. You will be redirected to a UPSC CMS e-admit card download page. Again click on the “Click Here” link.
4) Accept the terms and conditions
5) Now you can download your e-admit card either by Registration ID or By Roll Number.

Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately. Bring this e-Admit Card in each session to secure admission to Examination Venue. e-Admit Card may be preserved till the declaration of the final result.

No admission of candidates to the examination lab will be allowed after the Entry Gate Closing Time as indicated in the e-Admit Card.

Wearing mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the Venue.
