Minister of Education to interact with Directors of IITs NITs IISc etc tomorrow

The Union Education Minister of India Ramesh Pokhriyal will meet up with directors of IITs, NITs, IIITs. IISC, and IISERs tomorrow on May 20. The meeting with the directors will take place virtually at 11:30 a.m. The education minister of India will be discussing covid-19 management in around with the directors of various Indian Institutes of Technology.
The discussion will also be done on the online learning promotion and status of implementation of national education policy 2020 in the meeting.

Ministry of Education India took their Twitter platform to inform about the meeting which reads, ” minister of education government of India Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will meet directors of IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISERs, and IISC to discuss covid-19 management, online learning and status of implementation of NEP 2020 on 28 May 2021 at 11:30 a.m.”

Earlier on Monday may 17 Education Minister review a meeting with education secretaries of states and union territories of India. And also conducted a meeting with the vice-chancellor of Central University is on May 18 to discuss the agenda of online education covid-19 management and implementation of national education policy 2020.

Among the meetings held before various topics were discussed like various measures adopted by the management and preparation strategies made by States. Also, an important topic of discussion was to make online education more accessible and implementation of new education policies throughout the states. However, in these meetings, no clear decision has been made on the conduct of CBSE class 12 board examinations. Amidst all the speculation for the CBSE class 12 examination Education minister for the Central Board of Secondary Education has not made any official announcement yet.
