‘Command & Control Centre 2.0’ launched in Gujarat to monitor implementation of various educational projects

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated hi-tech “Command & Control Centre 2.0” (CCC 2.0) for the effective implementation of various educational projects as well as child-tracking and real-time monitoring of educational activities. The state-of-the-art CCC 2.0 will be useful for systematic monitoring of activities in 54,000 schools covering over 3 lakh teachers and 1 crore students across the state. Gujarat has developed technology-based Command Control Centre 2.0 to monitor education quality, student attendance, preparedness of teaching faculties. Rupani said that the state government has linked various projects like Shala Praveshotsav, Gunotsav with new technology for real-time monitoring, 100 percent admission, and zero dropout ratio by accepting that a brighter future can only be developed through primary education. Rupani clearly stated that with the use of state-of-the-art facilities and technology, we have adopted an approach that equips the child of the state to face the challenges of the world. Command & Control Centre has been set up in the state to monitor these projects and other education schemes. The new building of this Command and Control Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The data coming in this Command and Control Centre 2.0 unveiled by CM will be analysed with the machine learning, visual power cQube tool. The facility of knowing the online real-time attendance of teachers and students at the state level and district wise as well as course wise information can be made available through CCC 2.0.

CM directly interacted with the field staff of the Education Department through the video wall after the inauguration of the building of CCC 2.0 and got feedback on the projects. He had an online conversation with a teacher of Kazipura Primary School in the Anand district. Under the visionary leadership of CM an innovative project for home study learning for students- Gujarat Student Holistic Adaptive Learning App was launched with the motto of “Schools Closed, Education On”. Under this project e-content and learning management system has been prepared for students of Std-1 to 12. Students of Std. 1 to 12 who have smartphone-tablet will get education under Home Learning Management System G-SHALA (Gujarat Students Holistic Adaptive Learning App) application and e-content. The e-content includes animated videos, simulations of experiments, self-study and self-assessment modules, and reference-supplementary literature. Students will be able to access these features from any device or platform. In line with the Chief Minister’s visionary plan to keep the interest of bright future of Gujarat students at center, Education Department has also started “Gyansetu-Bridge Course Class Readiness” program for students of Std. 1 to 10 for one month from today i.e. from 10th June to 10th July which was virtually launched by CM today. Students have been studying online since last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This gyan setu project will prove to be important to strengthen the base education of last year. The Gyan Setu program has been prepared by education faculty experts and it will be provided free of cost to government school students from Std-1 to 10. Not only that, but it will also be made available to download on educational websites for the students. The episode will be telecasted from Ahmedabad Doordarshan Kendra DD Girnar from June 10 to July 10 to guide the students and the teachers will give direct or indirect guidance to the students. Gujarat Education Technology Limited, the company which prepared these projects, made a presentation on the operation of G-SHALA and Gyansetu to the Chief Minister and dignitaries.
