About the Course:
This course provides students with concepts of casting steps involved in making a casting, advantage of casting and its applications and its limitations, materials used For patterns, pattern allowances and their construction and principles of gating, gating ratio and design of gating systems.
Objectives:
1. Will familiarize about Hot working and cold working of metals.
2. Will demonstrate Cupola Furnace.
3. Will develop knowledge in Short & Long Freezing Range Alloys.
