Another NEET PG admission plea will be heard in the Supreme Court of India as NEET PG 2022-23 as students have moved to the apex court over the schedule for application for next year and issues with the process for this year.

Resident doctors have now filed a fresh petition regarding NEET PG admissions and the Supreme Court is set to hear the NEET PG admission plea on Friday, February 4, 2022.
According to the resident doctors, there is a clash between counseling dates for this year and application dates for next year’s admissions.

NEET PG aspirants who don’t get seats this year will not be able to apply for next year’s admissions.
The resident doctors have also challenged the mandatory internship period of one year for the 2021 applicants.
Demand for relaxation in NEET PG admissions
The doctors have said due to being on Covid-19 duty many doctors were not able to complete 12 months of internships.
As part of their NEET PG admissions plea, doctors are requesting an extension of time to complete the internship period or to provide relaxation for the internship requirements.
