Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must 

  • Be a resident of Maharashtra
  • Be a child of registered labour/child of Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder)
  • Be ”Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical course (Diploma/Graduation/Postgraduation degree) as mentioned in GR
  • Belong to a family where the annual income is less than INR 8 lakh
  • Have minimum 50 % attendance in the previous semester (exception for fresh admitted in College)

Benefits

  • For the child of Registered Labour/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder):
  • For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 30,000 for 10 months
  • For institutes in other areas – INR 20,000 for 10 months
  • For the child of the family where the annual income is not more than INR 1 Lakh:
  • For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 20,000 for 10 months
  • For Institute in other areas – INR 8,000 for 10 months
  • For the child of the family where the annual income is up to INR 8 Lakh:
  • For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 10,000 for 10 months
  • For Institute in other areas – INR 8,000 for 10 months

  • Register Labor Certificate/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder) Certificate (In case of not a child of Alpabudharak or Registered Labour then family income certificate)
  • Undertaking “In the current year, not more than 2 beneficiaries from the same family”

  • Hosteller documents
  • Attendance Certificate
  • Gap related documents (if gap is there)
  • Previous year marksheet

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ 
Step 2: Click on ‘New Applicant Registration’.
Step 3: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 4: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
Step 5: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by filling in all the required details.
Step 7: Log in using the username and password.
Step 8: Complete the scholarship application, upload necessary documents and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions

  • During course duration, the candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more than 2 years.
  • Deemed University and Private university is not applicable.
  • The candidates who have taken admission under the General category and SEBC category are eligible.
  • For the current academic year, only 2 children from a family are allowed for benefit of scheme.
  • The applicant who are availing any other scholarship/stipend cannot apply for this scholarship.
