Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a permanent resident of Odisha
- belong to any of the following categories of families –
- HIV/AIDS affected family (either father or mother or both)
- households without shelter
- manual scavengers
- particularly vulnerable tribal groups
- legally released bonded labourers
- single mother family (a mother who has a dependent child or dependent children and who is widowed, divorced or unmarried)
- have enrolled in a graduate and postgraduate course at a recognized College/ Institute/ University in the state of Odisha
- have an annual family income of less than INR 10,000
Benefits
The selected students will receive financial assistance of INR 20,000 per annum.
