FMS Placements: 269 Candidates Placed; Average CTC at Rs 34.1 Lakh

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) concluded its placement for the 2021-2023 batch with 100 per cent placement. This year, 269 students have been placed, and the average CTC recorded was Rs 34.1 lakh per annum.

In the data shared by FMS, the average CTC for the top 10 per cent of candidates is Rs 68.16 lakh per annum, Rs 51.67 lakh per annum for top 25 per cent candidates, and Rs 43.03 lakh per annum for the top 50 per cent of the candidates. The average CTC for top 100 candidates stood at R 46.1 lakh per annum.

The institute reported that 97 per cent of the received offers were above Rs 20 lakh per annum, and there has been a 19 per cent increase in finance roles.

This year, 126 candidates were freshers, 34 had experience of almost a year, 21 students had experience of 13-18 months, 48 for 19-24 months, 30 candidates for 25-36 months and 10 candidates had more than 37 years of experience. The average CTC for candidates with more than 37 months of experience increased by 22 per cent.

Additionally, a total of 109 pre-placement offers were made, out of which 108 offers were accepted.

Out of a batch of 273 students, 269 had applied for placements but four candidates opted out of placement or are taking placement holiday. FMS provides this opportunity to students who wish to pursue their own ventures and allows them to participate in a subsequent placement process for up to two years, in case they want to avail the opportunity.

Some of the top recruiters this year in Sales and Marketing category were Airtel, Amazon, Asian Paints, Cipla, Colgate, Palmolive, Cummins, Dabur, Dr. Reddy’s, HCCB, HUL, ITC, Mars etc. The leading recruiters in IT sector were Amazon, American Express, Appario Retail, Atlassian, EXL, Flipkart, Wipro, Zomato and more.

Axis Bank, BDA Partners, DBS Bank, HDFC Bank, Morgan Stanley, Natwest, Nomura, Ofbusiness, Standard Chartered etc were top recruiters in finance sector. Similarly, Accenture Strategy, Adani, AON, Bain & Co., Boston Consulting group, Capgemini E.L.I.T.E., Deloitte, Everest Group, Ernst & Young etc were top recruiters in consulting sector.
