To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a woman scientist who has an ongoing POWER grant or POWER fellowship of SERB
- not exceed the age limit of 57 years
- have a letter of support from the overseas host institution along with the application
The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:
- Travel: A round-trip lowest economy fare for the shortest route for travelling to the selected institutions/universities.
- Accommodation: USD 100 per day for the first month (30 days) and USD 75 per day for the remaining research period (up to another 2 months).
- Subsistence Allowance: USD 75 per day for a maximum period of 3 months.
- Contingencies and Related Travel Costs: Selected scientists will receive an allowance equivalent to USD 250 to cover the expenditure of visa fees, medical insurance, domestic travelling, airport transfers and other contingencies.

- Endorsement Letter from the Head of Institution
- Documents related to technology transfer (if any)
- Support letter if there is any tie-up with any Start-up or Industry
- Research Plan in prescribed format and size (PDF, up to 10MB)

Step 7: After successful registration, fill all the mandatory fields in the profile details section under ‘User Profile‘ which includes biodata (as per the defined template), photo, institute address, etc. and submit.
