To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a creative practitioner working across any and all mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, architecture, sound and music, design, crafts, installations, performance, literature and oral history
- be a domicile of one of the following Indian Himalayan Region, spread across 13 Indian States/Union Territories
- Jammu and Kashmir
- Ladakh
- Uttarakhand
- Himachal Pradesh
- Arunachal Pradesh
- Manipur
- Meghalaya
- Mizoram
- Nagaland
- Sikkim
- Tripura
- Assam
- West Bengal
Selected candidates will receive a one-time grant of up to INR 3,00,000.
- An updated portfolio of individual or collective practice with not more than 20 ongoing and older projects. (Note – Please include images and links to video files or other supporting material within this PDF itself)
- A detailed project proposal with the following –
- Outline of the proposed area of work/research and how it relates to the aegis of the grant.
- Details on community involvement, stakeholders and collaborators (if any)
- Images and videos wherever applicable (Note – Videos to be included within the PDF as links)
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) and bio. (Note – If applying as a collective, send CVs and bios for all members of the collective)
