NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the National Eligibillity-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling registration for round 1 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats today. Candidates can register for the NEET PG counselling 2023 round 1 at mcc.nic.in.
The committee will conduct the NEET PG counselling in four rounds that are round 1, round 2, mop-up round and stray vacancy round for the AIQ candidates who have qualified the NEET PG exam 2023. Round 2 of NEET PG 2023 counselling will begin on August 17, 2023.
As per the latest update, a total of 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals will participate in the NEET PG counselling 2023. The medical graduates will be allotted seats for 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 Diplomate Of National Board – Centralised Entrance Test (DNB CET) based on the NEET PG 2023 counselling.

The NEET PG counselling 2023 round 1 will be followed by registration by the candidates, payment of fees and filling of choice of courses and colleges. Admissions will be granted to the PG programmes based on the choices filled by the graduates, NEET PG 2023 rank and seat availability.
