MPPSC PCS Mains Exam 2023 Dates Revised; Exams Postponed to December 26 Due to Elections

NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has revised state services main exam dates 2023 and postponed the exams to December. MPPSC PCS 2023 scheduled from October 30 to November 4 will now be held from December 26 to December 31, the commission notified. The decision was taken after the announcement of state assembly elections, PTI reported. “For successful candidates in state services preliminary exam 2022, the mains exam was scheduled to be conducted from October 30, 2023 to November 4, 2023. Now, the exam will be held from December 26 to December 31, 2023 in the examination cetres in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Ratlam, Satna, Sagar, Shahdol, and Badwani,” MPPSC said in an official notice.
The commission also informed that the MPPSC PCS Mains admit card 2023 will be available on December 19 on the official websites, mponline.gov.in and mppsc.mp.gov.in.

“After considering the availability of examination centres and security arrangements in view of the announcement of the schedule for the state assembly elections by the Election Commission, we have decided to extend the dates of the State Services Main Examination 2022,” MPPSC Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Ravindra Panchbhai told PTI.

The official informed that 13,000 candidates, who were successful in the state services preliminary examination, will appear in the main exam. Panchbhai said with the main examination getting pushed ahead, candidates will get more time to prepare for it.
