To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a domicile of Kerala
- belong to minority communities including Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsis, Jains
- be pursuing a 3-year diploma course in government/aided/government-approved self-financing polytechnics
- have an annual family income of less than ₹ 8,00,000
Note:- Preference will be given to BPL candidates.
Selected candidates will receive financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 per annum.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ button.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register‘ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘APJ Abdul Kalaam Scholarship (APJAK), Kerala 2023‘ on the left-hand side of the page and click on it.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply Online‘ button.
Step 5: Fill in the required details, enter the captcha, and submit.
Step 6: After successfully completing the registration, applicants will be redirected to the application page.
Step 7: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit.
