To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a permanent resident of Odisha
- belong to ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC category
- be studying at the post-matric level of studies
- have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,50,000
- have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination (For EBC/OBC/SEBC)
The selected candidates will receive financial assistance to continue higher studies.
- Aadhaar number
- Caste Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Residence Certificate
- Educational documents with respect to all exams passed
- Copy of Aadhaar/enrolment Slip (if Aadhar number is not available)
- Copy of 1st page of the applicant’s bank account passbook containing the details of the account number
- IFSC code of the branch
Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the steps mentioned below –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘ button.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register‘ button and fill in the required details to register. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Post Matric Scholarship: ST&SC and MBC Welfare Department‘ and click on ‘Apply‘ button.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Register Here‘ button. (Note – The applicants who are already registered can log in using valid credentials)
Step 5: Read all the instructions carefully, tick the terms and conditions and click on ‘Proceed‘ to continue.
Step 6: Provide the Aadhaar Number and verify it to register.
Step 7: Once registered successfully, log in to the portal.
Step 8: Fill in the application form, upload photos and necessary documents and click on the ‘Apply‘ button to complete the process.
Note – The students can log in and use ‘Edit-Lock-Print’ to save the form.
