Income Tax Department is Hiring and Offering Rs 1.42 Lakh for These Positions

The Income Tax Department is offering job openings for talented athletes to join its Rajasthan office, announcing 55 vacancies across various positions. The recruitment drive, which commenced on December 12, 2023, aims to fill roles such as Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Stenographer, and Multi-Tasking Staff. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications through the official website, incometaxrajasthan.gov.in, until January 16, 2024.

VACANCY DETAILS FOR INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT RECRUITMENT:

  • Income Tax Inspector: 2
  • Tax Assistant: 25
  • Stenographer Grade 2: 2
  • Multi-Tasking Staff: 26

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Income Tax Inspector: Graduate
  • Tax Assistant: Graduate with the required typing speed
  • Stenographer Grade II: 12th pass
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th pass

Candidates appearing in the qualifying class examination are also eligible but must possess the relevant certificate by the online application deadline.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT JOBS:
The Income Tax Department application form must be completed online, with no physical forms being accepted.

AGE LIMIT:
The minimum age for eligibility is 18 years. The maximum age is 30 years for Income Tax Inspector, 27 years for Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade II, and 25 years for Multi-tasking Staff, with provisions for age limit relaxation as per government guidelines.

SALARY RANGE FOR INCOME TAX RECRUITMENT:

  • Income-tax Inspector: Pay level-7 (Rs 44,900-142,400)
  • Tax Assistant: Pay level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100)
  • Stenographer Gr. II: Pay level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100)
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Pay level-1 (Rs 18,000-56,900)

MERIT LIST AND ASSESSMENTS:

The merit lists for sports/games will be determined by the total marks achieved by candidates out of 100. To be eligible for inclusion in the merit list, candidates must attain a minimum of 40 marks in the overall assessment out of 100. Those applying for Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade-II positions must successfully pass the data entry skill test and stenography test.

Trial Assessment (30 marks): Candidates will undergo a trial for their chosen game/sport, accounting for 30 marks. The trial will be conducted by a committee consisting of at least two NIS-qualified coaches and a renowned player not affiliated with the Income Tax Department.
