To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be below 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course
- be a ward of serving Army personnel including Defence Security Corp (DSC) and MNS Officer
- be studying in Class 9 to postgraduate level in a recognised institution/college/university
Note:– Wards of Retired Army personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA), and deceased Army personnel are not eligible.
The selected students will receive the following scholarship based on the level of education for all categories, along with a merit certificate:-

| Class 9 to 11 | 1,500 |
| Class 10 to 12 | 3,000 |
| Graduation | 5,000 |
| Professional/PG courses | 10,000 |
- A passport-size photograph
- Certificate from OC unit
- Certificate from Head of School/Institute
- Marksheet/certificate of previous qualifying examination
