The expert tips which include prioritisation, strategic revision, and frequent mock tests are as follows:

Topic prioritisation
Identify high-priority topics and subtopics, ensuring you allocate sufficient time to master them. For example, in Mathematics, Vectors and 3D is an important chapter from which atleast 3-4 questions are asked in every paper. “A focused approach on these areas will enhance your overall preparedness for the exam”, Sharma said.

Frequent mock tests
Regularly attempt mock tests. Start with part tests to deepen your understanding of specific topics and gradually progress to full-length mock tests. Analyse your mistakes thoroughly and work on refining your strategies. Dedicate time to error analysis after each mock test. Identify recurring mistakes, misconceptions, and areas of weakness. Develop a strategy to overcome these challenges, whether through additional study, clarification from teachers, or seeking help from peers, Sharma advised.

Optimal exam timing
Align your body clock with the exam schedule. “Practice taking tests during the actual exam window (9 am – 12 pm or 3 pm – 6 pm) to condition your mind for optimal performance during the actual exam. This helps in synchronizing your mental alertness with the examination timings. This activity is very useful in the last month of preparation”, Sharma added.

Maintain healthy lifestyle
Maintain a healthy lifestyle by getting adequate sleep, eating nutritious meals, and staying physically active. A healthy body and mind are essential for sustained concentration and effective learning. If possible, practice meditation in the last two months. Try to do the meditation for atleast 15 min to calm your body and mind.

Seek guidance from experts
If there are specific doubts or areas where you struggle, don’t hesitate to seek guidance from teachers, peers, or online resources. Clarifying doubts promptly ensures a solid understanding of concepts, Sharma concluded.
