The Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration last date for January admission cycle 2024 to February 29 for open and distance learning (ODL) programmes. Interested candidates will be able to submit their application form on the official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The institute has also invited applications for admission to Fixed Learner Intake Programmes (FLIP). However, those interested to apply for FLIP will have to register on ignouflip.samarth.edu.in. The courses offered under Fixed Learner Intake Programmes are as follow.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health (PGDMCH)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine(PGDGM)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM)
- Diploma in Nursing Administration(DNA)
- Post-Graduate Diploma in HIV Medicine (PGDHIVM)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Management of CBRNE Disasters (PGCMDM)

Candidates will be allowed to opt for a maximum of 3 choices of study centres. The registration fee for FLIP courses is Rs 400. Shortlisted candidates will have to pay the course fee after receiving an email intimation from the institute.
For applying for IGNOU Jan 2024 ODL programmes, candidates will have to upload the scanned copies of the following documents as well.
- Photograph with file size less than 100 KB.
- Signature with file size less than 100 KB)
- Relevant educational qualification with file size less than 200 KB)
- Experience certificate with file size less than 200 KB
- Category certificate, if belonging to SC, ST, OBC. File size should be less than 200 KB.
Registration fee will be refunded in full for those candidates who withdraw before the confirmation of admission. Courses fee will be refunded after deducting Rs 500, if a candidate wish to withdraw 15 days after receiving confirmation of admission.
