Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research is inviting applications for admission to BS-MS (Dual degree) and 4 year BS degree programs in IISERs at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati for the academic session of 2024-25. The application portal for IISER admission 2024 will open on April 1.
The last date to fill the IISER application form 2024 is May 13. Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2000 whereas candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person With Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 1000 to complete the application process.
IISER Admission 2024: Major changes in eligibility requirements

The KVPY and JEE Advanced scores are not to be considered for IISER 2024 UG admission.
Candidates are required to appear for IISER Aptitude test (IAT) 2024.
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination in science stream in 2022, 2023 or 2024 with minimum 60% marks (general candidates) can apply for IAT 2024. For candidates belonging to Scheduled caste (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person With Disabilities (PwD) the minimum score requirement is 55% to apply for IAT 2024.
IAT 2024 exam pattern
The IAT 2024 will be a computer-based test scheduled and will be held on June 9 at various exam centres across the country. The IAT 2024 paper will carry a total of 240 marks. THe paper will include a total of 60 questions divided into four sections- Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Candidates will receive 4 marks for each right answer and 1 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
