The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MoE-MIC) are inviting proposals from academic institutions to host a 5-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Innovation & Entrepreneurship for FY 2024-25.
About the FDP
This initiative aims to equip educators and incubation managers with crucial skills to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and research commercialization in academic institutions. Each FDP will host 50-60 participants, ensuring broad knowledge dissemination. Not more than 10% of participants can be from the host institution.
Funding & Support
- AICTE-MIC Funding: INR 3.5 Lakhs per FDP (partial support)
- Host Institutions: Expected to cover additional expenses to ensure success
- Mode of Training: Hands-on activities & expert-led sessions

- University departments
- Deemed/Private universities
- Government-approved incubation centers
Institutions must have the infrastructure to host 50+ participants and a strong commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.
