Due to the Loksabha Elections, many examinations have been rescheduled such as GUJCET 2019, JEE Advanced 2019. The CA May 2019 examinations have been rescheduled from May 02-17, 2019 to May 27- June 12, 2019.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the exam date for CA examinations. The CA exam was scheduled to be held from May 02 to 17, 2019, however, the examination will now be held from May 27 to June 12, 2019. The reason for the rescheduling of the examination has been stated due to the Elections.
In an official statement made by the ICAI official said that, “It is hereby notified for general information that in view of Elections to the 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies across the country, the Chartered Accountant Examinations initially scheduled from May 02 to 17, 2019 stand rescheduled and the said examinations shall now be held from May 27 June 12, 2019, as per details given below.”
As per the new schedule released for CA May 2019 examination, the Foundation May 2019 exam which was supposed to be conducted on May 10, 12, 14, 16, 2019 has now been rescheduled and the foundation course examination under the new scheme will be held on June 4, 7, 9 and 11, 2019.
The Intermediate (IPC) course examination under the old scheme for Group I was earlier supposed to be conducted on May 03, 05, 07, 09, 2019, has been rescheduled and will be held on May 28, 30, 2019 and June 01, and 03, 2019. Furthermore, for Group II, the exam was scheduled to be held on May 11, 13, and 15, 2019. However, the new exam date for CA IPC under the Old scheme for Group II is June 06, 08, and 10, 2019.
The CA IPCC examination for New scheme for Group I is now going to be held on May 28, 30, 2019 and June 01, and 03, 2019, however, for the old scheme, it is going to be conducted on June 06, 08, 10, 12, 2019.
The CA Final May 2019 exam under Old and New scheme for Group I is going to be conducted on May 27, 29, 31, 2019 and June 02, 2019. However, for Group II, the CA Final May 2019 exam will be held on June 04, 07, 09, 11, 2019.
ICAI is not conducting any CA examination on June 05, 2019 on account of Id-ul-Fitr.
The last date for submitting the CA May 2019 examination form is March 12, 2019, without late fee. The aspirants can submit the application form by March 19, 2019, by paying the late fee charges.
ICAI conducts CA IPCC and Final examination is conducted twice a year. The exams will be conducted over 139 exam centres across the country. The Institute additionally conducts the exam at five foreign centres.
