Pondicherry Central University entered in to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Guru Nanak Educational Society, a Chennai based Institution to offer Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) courses under the twinning programme mode.
According to a university press note, the twinning/learning support centre is an innovative educational concept of the Directorate of Distance Education of Pondicherry University, which widens the scope of educational opportunity for aspiring students across the country.
The approach helps distance mode students to get an overview of each subject and clarify their doubts, if any. During every semester, 120 hours classes are conducted by subject experts in different learning centres.
