Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will begin the online application process for Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) tomorrow i.e, September 5, 2019. The interested candidates can apply online through the official website of JAM IIT — jam.iitk.ac.in – from tomorrow.
The last date to submit online applications for IIT JAM 2020 is October 8, 2019. IIT Kanpur is conducting JAM for admission to M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes at IISc.
JAM 2020 examination will be conducted online mode only. IIT Kanpur has scheduled to conduct JAM 2020 on February 9, 2020. The admit card for the same would be released on January 7, 2020. IIT Kanpur will announce the JAM 2020 result on March 20, 2020.
Candidates can appear in either one test paper or two test papers. The candidates who wish to appear for the two test papers need to pay an additional fee. Candidates should note that the opted test papers are not scheduled in the same session.

JAM 2020 papers will be fully objective type, with three patterns of questions as given below.
i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT)
