An Educated Workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy.
Brad Henry
The productivity of a nation depends on many factors. To name a few the workforce’s creativity, the quantity and the quality of the capital, the technology used, infrastructure etc. But the most predominant amongst them is education. Thankfully our Indian workforce is highly educated and yet we have 16.5% of educated unemployment in India. This means though our labour force is educated they are not rightly skilled. And that is a major concern.
Over the past few years, our government has taken many major steps to drive down the gap between education, skills and employment. Through initiatives by NSDC are creating an impact, we need the help and support of skill-course providers, training institutes, educational institutions and Edtech organisations to assist us in upskilling our nation. And that is where Million Light University’s MCAP programme comes into the picture.
Million Lights– a UK based EDtech company has launched a career assistance programme in India. This programme aims to connect the talent pool with the respective companies by providing appropriate training on the latest disruptive cloud platforms so that the learners are rightly skilled for the right jobs.
MCAP- a learner-centric ecosystem that connects talents, employers and opportunities
The need for ‘right’ skills is not only prevalent in the Indian market but also in the international forums. MCAP is a brainchild that exclusively targets this need by producing talents and opportunities from deserving candidates. This way the best Indian tech and non-tech majors can upgrade their skills sets for the international job markets.
