UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2022: The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC Main exam 2021 timetable has been released on the official website – upsc.gov.in. As per the schedule, UPSC IFS Mains 2021 examination will be held from February 27 to March 6, 2022. The UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2021 will be conducted in two shifts – 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.
The Indian Forest Service (Main) examination (written and interview) is being held for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service. The written examination will consist of 6 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects set out in sub-section (B) of Section II.

Test centres of UPSC IFS mains:
The main examination will be held on the following centres: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
Final selection:
The number of candidates to be summoned for interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled. The interview will carry 300 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks). Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking.
