DRDO-RCI Apprenticeship for Graduate, Technician and ITI Trade Apprenticeship 2023

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • be of a minimum of 18 years old as of 1st June 2023 (Note – Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC will be made according to the rules of the Government of India)
  • be a graduate in B.E/B.Tech in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering OR
  • be a diploma holder in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering OR
  • be an ITI passed out (NCVT/SCVT affiliation)

Note –

  • Postgraduates are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or are at present undergoing any apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits –

Note –

  • No TA/DA will be provided to the applicants for attending the selection procedure.
  • They won’t receive hostel accommodation, quarters and transport from the providers during interview or the apprenticeship program.
Documents

  • Signed printout of the application submitted on the website
  • Marksheet and certificate of Class 10
  • B.E./B.Techdegree/Diploma/ITI final marksheet/provisional certificate
  • Degree/provisional Degree/Diploma/ITI certificate
  • Two Passport size photographs
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PWD Certificate (if applicable)
  • Any Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India like a PAN Card/Voter ID/Driving License
  • Aadhaar Card (Mandatory)
  • Copy of the first page of the Bank Pass Book (State Bank of India, Preferable)
  • Medical fitness certificate issued by a Civil Assistant Surgeon

Note – Candidates are required to bring original and self-attested copies of the documents mentioned above during document verification/joining.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below-
Step 1:
 Click the Apply Now button below.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Register‘ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to ‘Register‘. (Note – If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Links to fill up online application‘ option and click on the respective links.
Step 4: Fill in all the required details and upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format to complete the application.
 

Candidates who are not registered with the NATs portal must register themselves before applying for this apprenticeship. The steps to register to the NATS portal are as follows-
Step 1: 
Visit the official website of the NATs portal.

Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Enroll’ option on the top-right corner of the page and click it. (Note – Applicants who are already registered on the NATS portal can use valid credentials to log in)
Step 3: Fill in the required information to complete the enrollment process. 

Note – 

  • Unique enrollment is required to fill in the application for the apprenticeship program.
  • Candidates enrolling for the first time on the NATS portal are required to wait for their unique enrollment/registration number to be generated before applying. 
  • It takes up to a day to verify the enrollment request and gets approved by the concerned regional boards. 
  • Once the applicants receive the unique enrollment number, they can proceed to apply.
