Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme in Disaster Management or in an equivalent postgraduate degree program such as
- Development Studies
- Economics
- Humanities
- Sciences
- Management
- Engineering
- Health Studies etc.
- have recently graduated from a university in the concerned subject (Note: If the student pursues a different academic discipline, there should be a clear linkage of that particular degree with disaster management)
Desired Qualifications:
- have excellent computer knowledge (Microsoft Office applications)
- have excellent written and spoken English
- have excellent interactive and interpersonal skills
- have flexibility to work in a multicultural environment
Benefits
The interns will be paid a remuneration of INR 12,000 per month.
NDMA will provide working space, internet facility and other necessities deemed fit by the divisional head. The interns will be required to have their own laptops.

Once the applicant submits the form, they will not be able to edit the same. Multiple submissions of any candidate might lead to the rejection of the application.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and requirements of the NDMA.
Terms and Conditions
- Internship based out of remote locations/work from home will be considered.
- Applicants must indicate their area of interest in the SOP.
- A candidate can apply for an internship only once during a financial year.
- Application not fulfilling the eligibility conditions, will be rejected.
