MCC Announces NEET PG 2023 Special Stray Vacancy Round; Registration Starts on November 17

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) special stray vacancy round. The allotment will be made for the 50 per cent all India quota (AIQ) and 100 per cent deemed and central universities, AFMS, PG DNB seats with the NEET PG special stray vacancy round counselling.

Candidates will be able to fill the choices against the NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round between November 17 and November 25. The NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round result will be declared on November 25 and the candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges between November 25 and November 30.

The state counselling authorities are directed to conduct the seat processing for the NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round of states after weeding out candidates allotted in the special stray vacancy round of MCC.

Candidates already holding a seat or who have joined through AIQ or state counselling including private and deemed quota seats are not eligible to participate in the special stray vacancy round of MCC. “It may also be noted that the Special Stray Vacancy Round is not an up gradation Round. Joined candidates of earlier rounds will not be given chance of upgradation,” the official notice stated.
