NEW DELHI: National Institute of Technology (NITs) will conduct admission to BTech in Mining, Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Computing, and Production and Industrial Engineering on the basis of JEE Main 2024. The NIT admission 2024 will be done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) will be held in two sessions. The first session will be conducted from January 24 to February 1 while the second session will be held from April 1 to 15. The counselling process on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2024) will be done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). A total of six rounds of NIT admission 2024 counselling will be done by JoSAA.
The JoSAA will conduct six rounds of the counselling process. Four NITs offer BTech in Mining Engineering. NITs offering Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Computing, and Production and Industrial Engineering programmes are two, four and three, respectively.

Last year, the highest closing rank for BTech in Mining Engineering was 30068 at NIT Surathkal. The lowest closing rank for BTech in Mining Engineering was 54788 at NIT Shibpur.
