Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian national
- be a Summer Research Internship Programme (SRIP) intern who has completed the program under the faculty guides’ evaluation
Benefits
A total of 3 awards of ₹50,000 will be awarded in each of the following categories: Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
Documents
Academic transcripts, including marksheets, certificates of the previous qualifying examination (if applicable)
Summer Research Internship Programme (SRIP) completion certificate
How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply for the internship by following the below-mentioned steps:-
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now‘.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required details to Register. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Click on the ‘Portal’ tab.
Step 4: Select the ‘Prospective Interns’ option.
Step 5: Check the available projects (project code, title, and description) under the ‘Project’ tab.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Apply’ tab in the upper left corner of the page.
Step 7: Fill in all the ‘Project details’ and other required information and click on the ‘Submit’ button to apply.
Note: The internship period is from 15th May 2024 to 15th July 2024.

Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates will be based on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
Terms and Conditions
- Applicants for the Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) can submit their applications based on their interests and prior research experience.
- After completing the internship, interns are required to present their research findings to the institute community and submit a final report.
