To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be a final-year student pursuing a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, NIT Surathkal, and NIT Trichy
- be expected to graduate in the academic year 2024
- have secured a minimum academic aggregate of 70% or a CGPA of 7.0 (out of 10)
Selected scholars will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,400 for the duration of the program. L&T will cover the entire tuition fee for the two-year M.Tech. CT&M program.
Scholars will also get the opportunity to participate in live projects at L&T construction sites, gaining valuable practical experience. Additionally, alumni of the L&T Build India Scholarship program will guide and mentor the scholars throughout their studies.

Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on an online written test (covering both subject knowledge and aptitude) followed by a personal interview with a panel from IIT and L&T. Medical fitness is a final requirement for the scholarship award.
Terms and Conditions
- Employment will be offered to the selected candidates at L&T upon successful completion of the course.
- Upon selection and before course commencement, students are required to sign an undertaking valuing ₹5,00,000. This undertaking binds the student to successfully complete the program and subsequently, upon selection, serve the company for five years.
