NEW DELHI: The Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) has started the registration process for admission to 13 distance programmes run by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL). Earlier, the varsity confirmed that the CDOL has not been derecognised and is going to offer a slew of courses in distance mode right after the clearance from the UGC.
The Commission finally approved the programmes offered by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL) and applications have been invited for sessions 2018-19 and 2019-20 in the Jamia Millia Islamia.
The UGC has approved introduction to the programmes mentioned below for Open and Distance Learning in the University:
1. Bachelor of Business Administration (B.BA)
2. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
3. Bachelor of Commerce (International Business and Finance)
4. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
5. M.Com
6. Master of Arts (M.A) in Education
7. M.A English
8. M.A Hindi
9. M.A History
10. M.A Human Resource Management
11. M.A Public Administration
12. M.A Political Science
13. M.A Sociology
Candidates can check CDOL programmes under the Admission Notification-II at official website – jmi.ac.in. The applications form for both the General and Indian Defence Services candidates are available online .
As per the official notification, application forms, completed in all respects, must be submitted either to Programme Coordinator, CDOL or selected Study Centre. The last date for submission of admission forms or completion of admission formalities for all programmes except B.Ed is February 28, 2019. The aspirants for B.Ed programmes will have to submit their application forms on or before February 21, 2019. The application forms will be accepted on all days including Saturdays/Sundays between 09:30 AM to 05:30 PM at CDOL Jamia Millia Islamia Offices.
