The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2019 on the official website – astu.ac.in. About CEE 2019:
CEE 2019 will be conducted on April 28, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm for admission into BE/ BTech programme for the academic session 2018-2019 in the engineering colleges on the state.
As per the latest information, the admit card for CEE 2019 will be released on April 15, 2019.
CEE 2019: Application fee
Interested candidates will be required to pay the application fee of Rs 650.
CEE 2019: Syllabus and exam pattern
CEE-2019 will be based on the syllabus from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
The exam paper will comprise of three sections – mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Each section of the question paper will carry 40 questions.
CEE 2019: Eligibility
The candidate must attain the qualifying marks in the physics, chemistry, mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 per cent.
Required qualifying marks for candidates belonging to SC category: 45 per cent
Required qualifying marks for candidates belonging to ST category: 40 per cent
