As the fourth phase of the lockdown is about to come to an end, a lot of educational institutes are releasing their schedule for the upcoming academic year and final exams. Andhra University has also decided to update its students regarding the conduction of final exams for this year. In a series of new notices, Andhra University has released the updated timetable for semester exams for several courses such as B.A, BCom, BHA, BSc, BBA etc.
The examination timetable has only been released for undergraduate courses offered by the university as of now. The detailed datesheet for each course can be downloaded by the students by visiting andhrauniversity.edu.in.

The examinations are being held for 2nd, 4th and 6th semester students and the candidates giving the exam will be appearing physically to write the paper, as opposed to the exams being held online by several universities across the country.

Exams to commence from July
As per the official notices and timetables released on the Andhra University website, the examinations will be conducted from the first week of July 2020, while the exam timings for each course is different. Most of the examinations are being held in the evening shift, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Students who want to appear for the semester examinations this year need to fill out the examination application form to get registered. If the student’s registration is found ineligible at the last moment, he or she will not be allowed to appear for the exams.
All candidates must report to the examination centre on the exact date and time of their exam and follow all the norms and rules set by the university during the exams. Students are not supposed to carry their mobile phones or any other electronic devices during the exams.
All educational institutes in the country are currently closed due to the extension of the nationwide lockdown till May 31, 2020. Universities are planning their final exams during this time of uncertainty, while students are protesting the conduction of exams as it puts their physical health at risk.
