IIT Madras is currently accepting applications from meritorious candidates for 10 vacancies for a project titled “Centre for Programmable Photonic Circuits and Systems (CPPICS)” available at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Selected candidates will initially be engaged for a period of one year, which is extendable up to five years based on the performance. Based on the qualifications of the candidates and the post for which they are selected, a monthly salary of Rs 21,500 to 1,50,000 will be paid.

The notifications issued on the IIT Madras website states that out of the 10 vacancies that are available, one is for Chief Technology Officer (CTO), three are for Senior Project Officers, five are for Project Associates, and one is for Junior Research Fellow. Candidates who hold the desired qualifications may apply online on the IIT Madras website before 29 January 2021. A separate application has to be filled for each post, and the system will accept only one application with the registered login ID.
