NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the Civil Services (Preliminary) examination 2023 registration window today, February 21. Candidates can apply online for the UPSC IAS exam 2023 through the official website– upsc.gov.in. UPSC is accepting applications to fill out 1,105 vacancies in IAS.
The Civil Services Prelim exam form correction window will remain open from February 22 to February 28. The Prelims exam is scheduled to be held on May 28, while the Mains exam will be held on September 15, 2023.
The UPSC IAS exam recruitment process includes three stages – prelims, mains and interview. As per the IAS exam paper pattern, the Prelims exam has multiple choice questions (MCQ). And the Mains exam has descriptive-type questions. The interview is conducted in front of board members.

- First, visit the official website – upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “Exam Notification: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023” link.
- Fill out the UPSC CSE application form with the necessary details, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Download the application confirmation page and take a printout of it for further reference.
