JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently concluded the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023, session 2. Following this, the NTA will release provisional answer keys and then final answer key, on the basis of which JEE Main 2023 result will be prepared.
As per Ramesh Batlish, FIITJEE expert, the JEE Main qualifying cut-off (as per NTA percentile score) for JEE Advanced 2023 for the General category students will be 88 to 80. However, some experts (Nitin Arora, Assistant Director Academics ENGG., Aakash BYJU’S Live) have also analysed the cut-off to reach 90- 92 in the general category.
For the EWS category, it is expected to reach 63-68, and 66-70 for OBC-NCL category students. The expected cut-off for Scheduled Caste (CS) category students is 42-48. While Batlish analysed the cut-off for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates to reach 25-27, Arora believes that it can reach as high as 30-33.
The official answer key is expected to release soon, after which candidates will be given the option of raising objections against the same. On the basis of those objections, the NTA will prepare the final answer key, followed by the JEE Main 2023 result.
After the JEE Main 2023, successful candidates will have the option to register for the JEE Advanced 2023. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 4. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, and paper 2 is scheduled from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm on the same day.
