The State Bank of India (SBI) has started the apprentice recruitment 2023 registration process from today, September 1, 2023, onwards. Applicants who are interested in applying for the same can visit the official website, i.e., https://sbi.co.in/ on or before the last date, which is September 21, 2023. This training programme will be for a year and provides students with a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for the months of October or November 2023.
SELECTION CRITERIA
To get selected for the above recruitment, students have to appear for an online written test and language assessment. SBI aims to attract diverse candidates by offering question papers in 13 different regional languages.
NUMBER OF VACANCIES
As per the information, this recruitment drive would fill up to 6160 apprentices under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, the bank has officially released the details on its website, which can be accessed at https://sbi.co.in/.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants who want to apply for the above-mentioned posts must meet the age requirements to be considered for the apprenticeship.
The minimum age for application is 20 years, while the maximum age allowed is 28 years as of August 1, 2023.
This means candidates should have been born between August 2, 1995, and August 1, 2003. However, certain relaxations in the upper age limit are available for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories, in accordance with the Government of India guidelines. Applicants must have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute.
APPLICATION FEES
Candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 300. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
