To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile/resident of Bihar
- belong to the Backward Class (BC) or Economically Backward Class (EBC) category of Bihar
- have an annual family income of not more than INR 1,00,000 from all sources
The selected candidates will receive the benefits in the following manner:

The selected students will also receive other benefits including maintenance allowance, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges, thesis typing, book allowance, and book bank facilities. An additional allowance will also be given to disabled students for each academic year.

Note: All the documents must be uploaded in PDF format and under 150-400 KB in size.
Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required details (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘New Registration for BC/EBC 2023-24’ tab. (Note – If already registered, click on the ‘Login for Already Registered Students for BC/EBC 2023-24’ to proceed).
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick on the agreement boxes and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 5: Fill in the required details to register and click on the ‘Next’ button.
Step 6: Login using valid credentials (user ID, password, captcha code) to access the application form.
Step 7: Fill in the required details, upload the relevant documents and submit.
