To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:
- be a permanent resident of Odisha
- have passed HSC with 60% or more marks from an institution recognized by BSE Odisha, CBSE, ICSE, Equivalent Boards
- be pursuing regular Class 11 (under 10+2 system)
- have parental income not exceeding ₹6,00,000 per annum
The following students are not eligible for the scholarship scheme:
- Students whose parents earn more than ₹6,00,000 per annum
- Applicants who study through distance learning or by correspondence.
- Students already receiving scholarships from other State or Central Government programs.
- Students who are studying abroad.
- Students whose records are not validated by their school’s Principal during Class 11.
A total of 10,000 meritorious students will receive a scholarship of ₹ 3,000 per year for a duration of 2 years, ensuring equal opportunities for both male and female students (i.e. Boys and girls in a 50:50 ratio).
Note: This scholarship is renewable for those who continue their education in Class 12.
- Domicile certificate
- Proof of annual income
- Marksheets and certificates of the last qualifying examination (HSC)
- Bank account details of the student (First page of bank account containing account number and IFSC)
- Higher Secondary School ID card/Admission receipt/Library Card/Letter of Undertaking
- Aadhaar card of the student

Step 3: Navigate to the respective scholarship scheme i.e. ‘Junior Merit Scholarship‘.
Step 4: Provide all the necessary details and documents and submit the application form.
