The ‘nurtr Nurturing Minds with Chess 2023-24’ program is a collaborative effort between nurtr, a leading online chess academy, and Buddy4Study with the primary goal of utilizing the game of chess as a powerful tool for the holistic development and education of school and college students in India.
The initiative focuses on imparting valuable life skills to students, such as critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, patience, and perseverance through chess.
Program Details
Under this scheme, Buddy4Study and nurtr have introduced a subsidized best-selling chess learning program, i.e. Dream Room Neo Course, for students passionate about the game. The initiative extends substantial support by providing a discount of up to 90% to Indian school or college students under the age range of 5 to 25 years who meet specific annual family income criteria.
The nurtr Neo Course provides access to:
Over 50 hours of Live Camps led by leading Grandmaster coaches.
500+ hours of professionally edited videos by celebrated chess coaches (content being added progressively).
40+ hours of cinematized courses featuring GM R.B. Ramesh and other prominent players, coaches, parents, and Olympic-standard mental trainers.
Individuals can avail the following with the subsidised subscription to the nurtr Neo Course:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a resident of India.
- Be a school or college student.
- Fall within the age range of 5 to 25 years.
- Have an annual family income of less than ₹8 lakh.
Documents Required:
- Student ID proof issued by School/College.
- Family income proof (Salary Slip, Form 16, Income Certificate, ITR, etc.).
- Passport Photo.
- Student ID proof (such as Aadhaar Card, etc.).

Application Process

- Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and navigate to the ‘Application Form Page’.
- If not registered – Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Gmail account.
- You will now be redirected to either the ‘nurtr Nurturing Minds with Chess 2023-24’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
NOTE: After submitting the application form, candidates need to pay the requisite fee through Buddy4Study’s payment gateway. Upon meeting eligibility criteria during document verification, their course will be activated. If found otherwise, the paid amount will be refunded to the candidate.
